2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp of Olive Oil
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup of Parmesan 
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, finely diced
  • ½ cup of Milk
  • 4 Slices of Italian bread, crust cut off or bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup of Chopped Parsley
  • Dash of Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
    • For the Glaze:
  • 3/4 cup of Ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp of Tomato Paste
  • ¼ cup of Brown Sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp of Dried Mustard
  • 1 tsp of Paprika
  • 1 tsp of Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tsp of Granulated Onion
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
Saute the onion and garlic in the olive oil for about 6 or more minutes on a medium heat until soft and translucent, allow to cool down completely. 
In a small bowl, put the slices of bread and pour the milk over them, leave until the bread soaks all the milk. 
In a large bowl, combine the beef, the soaked bread, cooked onion and garlic, parmesan, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix lightly until everything is well combined.
    Shape into a rectangular/ a loaf shape in broiler pan and place the meat mixture set aside. 
    In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the glaze. Pour half of it over the top of meatloaf evenly and reserve the rest. 
    Bake the meatloaf for about 45-50 minutes, then smear the rest of the glaze on top and put it back in the oven to bake for another 15 minutes. 
Allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
